Following discussions with existing members of the Professional Services Group, and a wide variety of other contacts, it became clear that although they like the idea of being able to network and work together, they do not want to have to take part in running the group.

In addition, they were often already in other groups that take their time. Many other points were also raised and discussed.

This website has been created as a way to address all the points made: -

1. The group is to be a private group that can only be joined by invitation.
2. There can only be one member per business category, to avoid conflicts of interest.
3. All members can recommend members, but invitations are sent by the hosts to ensure the above.
4. There will be two full time administrative hosts to ensure continuity.
5. Other hosts may be appointed with specific advisory roles.
6. Each member will pay a joining fee of $100 plus an annual fee of $250.
7. This will cover site administration and basic support for members.
8. Members may request additional support for most tasks at $45 per hour.
9. Members will receive a 30% discount on any advertising undertaken through Eastern Suburbs Life
10. Members can leave at any time and receive a pro rata refund of their annual fee.
11. Members are expected to observe the "Golden Rule" 
12. Provision has been made for the group to support charities. The exact structure requires discussion.

Other activities need to be agreed upon as the group starts to function. These suggestions have been made: -

• Group Chat be active at all times, to allow informal group discussions.
• One formal Group Chat be scheduled for 3.00 pm on an agreed day of each week.
• One formal Zoom meeting be help each month at a date and time to be agreed
• Other events like Group viewings of videos may also be scheduled
• Members can also run and promote their own events using group facilities

Other Features: -

• The Group will have its own Website, Facebook Page, Facebook Group, LinkedIn Account & Twitter Account
• These will be managed by Group Administration. Statistics will be monitored for all the above
• Members can message each other in private without leaving the group and without emails getting lost
• A free Community Directory will be maintained by Group Administration CLICK HERE
• Members can create posts to share information with the Group, and also to Social Media
• They can also publish on the external Community Publishing platform.
• Posts on the platform will be submitted to Google and shared to the Group Social media accounts
• The full text of all content on the platform is indexed and can be searched by keywords
• The group will be promoted on Google and also in every edition of Eastern Suburbs Life (Half Page)
• The cost of these features is covered by the annual membership fee of $150.
• All members will be promoted 24/7 on the home page of the website, with a link to their website
• Members can also feature as sponsors for an annual fee of $100. (Non member sponsors are $150)
• Both slide shows present entries in a random sequence.
• The group will publish a monthly newsletter in which members can also advertise.
• The program gives members both cost/time effective networking and combined marketing.

Membership Fees are used to: -

1. Provide members with basic training and support for 12 months
2. Promote the group on Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
3. Maintain and improve the website and membership platform
4. Promote the group by e-Newsletter and in Eastern Suburbs Life
